I’m always terrible at guessing what the actual flavor is and for some reason I always think the Voo Dew flavors taste like some type of childhood candy. No different this year.
I looked back at last year’s Voo Dew post and I basically said the same thing. LOL Real original.
It’s sweet and I liked it, so I’ll give it a 7.5/10.
DEW with a blast of artificial pineapple berry flavor
There have been several new flavors recently! With my first sip or two I thought it was just ok, which was a bit of a letdown because pineapple and berry sounds like a winning combination. Then as I got in to the bottle, I really enjoyed this flavor. I’ll rate it a 7/10.
Dew with a blast of red berry flavor with other natural flavors
This is a really good flavor and almost tastes like more of a juice than a pop. I’d grab this in the store if I was in the mood for something different than the original flavor, so I’m giving it a 9/10.
Dew with a blast of lemonade and peach flavor with other natural flavors
This one was really good and thankfully the peach was subtle enough to add to the taste. I love me some lemonade, so I’m happy to rate it an 8/10.
Not many places in Europe sell Mountain Dew and when you find some, it’s usually without sugar. After a week in Ireland I finally found some good stuff.
This is called Citrus Blast and tastes close to the Mountain Dew sold in the US, but not as sweet. I ran the numbers and found it contains less than half as much sugar!
I’m going to give it a 8.5, especially since it’s kind of outrageous how much sugar a 20oz in the states has.
This Baja is really good and one of the best Mountain Dew flavors I’ve had in awhile. It has a little fruity kick to it. Solid 8.5 out of 10.
I had high hopes for this one since I like mango and love lemonade. It’s pretty “meh” though and I probably wouldn’t buy one. I’ll give it a 6/10.

It was a good December for making when I was able to catch up on a lot of electronics kits. I’ve been working on a new desk for my office since November, which I hope to finish soon. Then I’ll be starting to build other things for the new house.

I tried the main Mountain Dew Hard flavor back in August and was not impressed. This weekend I finally opened a can of the Baja Blast and after my first sip I thought it might be ok. Then the aftertaste kicked in. I finished off the can, but am not even going to bother with the other two flavors. This doesn’t even deserve a rating. Save your money and buy other alcohol. Stick to pop if you want Mountain Dew taste.
Two new flavors, Game Fuel Mystic Punch and Citrus Cherry.
The Mystic Punch is tasty. I get a hint of grape on top of the fruit punch. I’ll give it a solid 7.5/10.
The Citrus Cherry is very good and one that I’d actually buy again as an alternative to the standard Mtn Dew flavor. It gets a 9/10!
