One of my photos is being featured today at the A Picture’s Worth site. The title of the entry is Escape and the essay that I wrote to go with it really explains how we go through the ups and downs of our everyday lives.

I’ve posted the photos from my Philadelphia trip.
Each year, Diego Golberg’s family photographs themselves on July 17th. One of the coolest family rituals I’ve ever come across, especially since it’s on the web for everyone to see. A real living history in photos.
I was browsing the web, attempting to come up with a topic to write about, when I came across a photo asking for a caption. Those are always fun, so I’ve decided to try one out. The photo is of my friend James wearning a Michigan State sweatshirt. It’s your job to figure out what the hell he’s doing and write a caption for it.
5 Stitches!
I love mountain biking, but “full contact sport” takes on a whole new meaning when you bite the dust. I took a few crash photos for evidence. The bike seems to have survived without any damage. If anything, it now has character!
I’ve made a few modifications to the site.
The photos section is now powered by Pictorialis II as promised. The basics are there, but I need to modify the layout some more to make it look how I want. I really like the software though. Awesome stuff Mark!
I’ve also modified the way Link It posts show up on the main page of the blog. They were taking up too much space. Since the goal of them is to create a very short post, I’ve modeled them after Matt and I like the look. I do need a way to make them stand out a little more though.
Pictorialis II is ready for download.
I’ve been struggling to find something to use for the photos section of the site and may have finally found it. iPAP/SPAM is what I’m currently using, but a lot of the features I need/want are not implemented yet. Since it’s a one-man show, I don’t know when those features will be implemented. On the other hand, Mark has been working on a fork of WordPress to use strictly for photos. The latest version, called Pictorialis II: Framed looks awesome! Since it’s based on WP, I won’t have to learn much new code either. Check out the demo for yourself.
