Cheap Web Hosting

Get web hosting from DreamHost for less than $10 for the first year. Simply use promotion code 777 when you order. I’ve been told that the promotion is over, so I’ve setup a new code. Use promotion code MDV2 and receive discounts on any hosting package through DreamHost.

This applies to their “Crazy Domain Insane” package and you must choose to sign-up for a year. The package includes:

  • 1 FREE domain registration
  • Host 3 full domains and 15 subdomains
  • 2400 MB Disk space
  • 120 GB Transfer
  • 600 Mailboxes
  • 75 Shell/FTP Users

If you’d like a higher package, I’ve setup my own promo code that will give you discounts. Basically you’ll get $20 off a monthly plan, $40 off a 1-year plan, or $60 off a 2-year plan. Simply use promotion code MDV2 when you order.

I’d also appreciate it if you would sign-up through the links in this post or enter mtdewvirus as your referral so that I get credit. If you use my promotion code, I’ll automatically get credit.

I’m signing up for my own DreamHost account as I finish up this post. I’m all setup. Now I just need to figure out the best (quickest and least painful) way to transfer my sites over.

Review: First Strike (Halo)

First Strike (Halo)This book is the 3rd in the series and should be an enjoyable read for any Halo fan. First Strike tells the story that leads up the action experienced while playing the video game Halo 2.

Master Chief is the main character as you might expect, but there are other Spartans as well as Cortana and a few others from the first two books. While reading, you’ll learn some important pieces to the overall Halo story. The authoer, Eric Nylund, does a good job of weaving action with some of the backround info that is essential to the story.

If you enjoyed playing Halo and Halo 2, the book series is a great supplement. I give First Strike a B+.
