Update: I’ve updated my garage gym quite a bit since this was posted.

Nice set up Nick. Looks like a long list but not a junky/packed area. Nice.

This is in your garage? Outstanding!
How often do you train here compared to at a facility?

Not often enough! I like having the option though.

Hello Nick. Impressive garage! I noticed that you have an Airdyne AD2: Is it a good bike for a home use? I was thinking of getting one for interval training, but I’m a bit undecided between the AD6 and AD2. The 6 seems to cost an awful amount of money and I wonder if it’s worth spending if you’re not going to put it in a gym. Ciao from Italy.

Thanks! The AD2 is great for home use. There are a few AD6s at the CrossFit gym where I go and they are brutal on you compared to the AD2.

What do you mean by “brutal”? My wife is going to use this bike too and she isn’t the CrossFitter kind!

The AD6 has a much harder resistance and neither one has any configuration to change that. Going 100% for 15-30 seconds wipes you out on the AD6, but is much more sustainable on the AD2. I would buy an AD2 again any day over the AD6. You can still get a great workout out of it.

Thanks for the advice Nick. Now I just hope my bid on Ebay for a used ad6 in UK won’t be the highest as it is now!
