24/365

Apple StoreThe image you see posted on the left is currently at Apple’s homepage and it’s the first time I’ve ever seen the phrase “24/365” used. Thank you Apple! Maybe the whole world will finally realize that 24/7/365 doesn’t make sense. If you want to say 24/7/52 that’s fine, but 24/7/365 just doesn’t fly. There are 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week, and 52 weeks in a year. There are not 365 weeks in a year or 365 weeks in anything for that matter. Just use 24/365 and the world will be a happier place. Pass the word.

  1. it’s true, but then again, 24/7 means the exact same thing as 24/7. by saying you’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you pretty much have everyday of the year covered. there are only 7 days in every week of the year, so theres really no need to say 24/365. oh apple, you just need to be different dont you. hahaha everyone always needs to be different. you cant just have poker now, you have to have guns you can shoot at people too: http://www.deadmanshandhbo.com . friggin Deadwood and its addictiveness, not just as a show, but as life.

  2. I don’t quite agree with you dave…otherwise why not go so far as to say “open 60 seconds every minute”. Saying you’re open 7 days a week doesn’t necessarily mean every week of the year. That’s just an assumption.

  3. Well first of all I would like to congrats the Apple for it’s homepage which is really nice!

If we are talking about 24/7 or 24/365 both means the same as it actually means all time at your service!

    What you have to say?
