I haven’t done an assembly video on a HackerBox in months. I have received some comments that they are really helpful for beginners, so I’m going to try to do one each month, which will also push me to complete the kits sooner. With all of the surface mount components this is a really good box to start with.

Facebook Removes Comment Permission Settings

In their latest batch of privacy control changes, Facebook is removing the setting which allowed a user to disable comments on their account. Read about it on their Dig Into the Details page. Here’s a screenshot:

With the change, if you can read a post on Facebook, you can comment on it. There is no other option. This may be the last straw for me. I’ve already been so close to deleting my account. Have I ever mentioned how much I fucking hate Facebook?
