What a first round. The leader in our family bracket only picked 23/32 games.
More than half of the family picked Duke to win it all though.

Making my March Madness picks.
I love the month of March for two reasons. March Madness and the coming of warmer Michigan weather.
The month of March is heaven for college basketball fans and NCAA bball just happens to be my favorite sport to watch. The teamwork, intensity, atmosphere, and everything about the game draws me in. I’ve already been tuned in to a lot of the conference championship games from last weekend and I’m about to start filling out my bracket. When you have your pride and money on the line in a bracket pool it makes you so much more interested in the outcomes of every single game. The eventual NCAA champ will need to win their final 6 games of the season before they can cut down the nets on the first Monday in April.
Nicer Michigan weather means I start to get the golf itch. Golf is my favorite sport to play as I keep getting older, because it’s a game most people can play most of their life. It’s you against the course out there. There is a lot of skill to the game, but also a lot of luck and mental toughness to it as well. I’ve already planned a trip down to Indiana or however far south we need to drive in order to play some golf. My Dad, a few of his friends, and I will be making the trip at the end of the month to wet our appetites before we can start hitting the links here a few weeks afterwards. With the changes I’ve made to my diet and workouts I’m really looking forward to the effects it will have on my golf game.
