Spreadsheet Etiquette

Things I almost always do in a spreadsheet:

  • Freeze the header row.
  • Delete unused columns.
  • Double-click column widths so the content fits properly.

Things I sometimes do:

  • Delete unused rows.
  • Increase font size to at least 10.

What do you do in your spreadsheets?

  1. Deleting unused Rows & Columns is something I always do in my own spreadsheets. Freezing header rows I’ll do if it’s past like 50 rows. Even if it’s just me handling the data. Future Doug always thanks past Doug for this.
