I was looking at scores on ESPN and saw this. Last time I checked it was impossible to score a single point in football. What is this? Soccer?

It is impossible in the NFL, but is possible in NCAA football, last I checked via a one-point safety. Everyone that has happened in recent memory has been the team kicking an extra point losing the ball, then tackling the other team’s playing in the end zone after they ran back in. This would just add on the extra point, but there is a defensive one-point safety on the books.
Team A attempts a try, then turns over the ball to B who advances it toward their end zone. Before scoring, B loses the ball. A recovers and willingly goes into his own end zone and then is tackles by B. B awarded one point. Since they may not score otherwise, they could end the game with one point. IIRC, this hasn’t happened in D1 football ever.
