OUCH! This is what happens on the day I finally string together some kipping pull-ups. Here is another picture after I cut off some of the hanging skin.

I guess I won’t be doing kipping pull-ups again for awhile.

Ouch — tasty. Do other folks in your gym wear gloves when they’re working out? Or just work up to it and toughen up your hands more?

Nobody wears gloves. Most of my other fingers have built up calluses under them, but apparently not the pinkies.

More chalk – less ouchy! Blisters come to pass leaving tough calluses.
Gloves sometimes create the same friction. Chalking takes too much time if you’re in the middle of a set. I call them battle scars! 🙂

I wish they were only blisters!

Hope you washed them and put some bacitracin on them!

For sure! I kept them covered with band-aids and Neosporin for 2 full days and nights, except for when I was at the gym.
