You’re doing it wrong! What on earth are you cooking tha takes a dishwasher-full of dishes per meal, for one person?? I almost stopped using my dishwasher because it takes me about a week to fill it, assuming I’m actually cooking at home once in a while.

3-4 meals a day. Usually a big pot or bowls take up all the room. Or all of the parts from a juicer.

Ahh — I normally just rinse out something like a juicer (or blender for shakes). And I wash pots/pans by hand normally.

I hate washing anything by hand.

We do about 1 to 2 loads a day, plus the pots and pans that have to be hand washed.

When I am cooking at home (i am a widower) I only run my dishwasher every 3rd day (roughly) must be because our water drains in the opposite direction from those folks living south of the equator????
