Not tempted by the touch? I think it’s better ergonomics. I notice occasional tension in my hands holding the kindle for page turning — tension and repetition are silent killers.
Nope. I already have an iPad and iPhone, so smaller is better and I would want it to be used solely as a reading device. If it has other stuff on it, I’ll be distracted, which happens with my iPad now.
I just lightened my backpack for traveling by getting an Air and replacing over the ear noise canceling headphones with sound isolating in-ear ones. Every ounce counts.
I look at the Kindle Touch as solely a reading device just with touch controls. I’d be surprised if I don’t also enjoy the additional screen size when reading a book, and ease of highlighting favorite passages.
