This is not only interesting to know, but I can’t believe that after using WordPress 6 1/2 years, writing 500+ articles about it, hacking and creating custom themes and plugins for 250+ clients – I never realized that that “P” in WordPress actually IS capitalized.
WOW! I am embarrassed.
From now on, it will be a capital “P” for me! Thanks for the heads up!

Don’t be. Many people do it. In fact, it’s so common a mistake that core WordPress even has a filter to automatically correct it in content. 🙂 we just try to raise awareness whenever we see it.
