Tomorrow afternoon I’m flying out to Las Vegas to work the WordPress / Woopra / Layered Tech booth at the Blog World Expo. It’ll be my first time traveling to an event as an Automattic employee, so I’m excited. It looks like a lot of great companies will be there to represent and there will be bloggers everywhere. Heather and Jane will also be working our booth. I’ve only met Matt and Marianne from the Automattic crew, so it’ll be nice to finally meet a couple of other people I work with everyday.
If you are out in Las Vegas this weekend, stop by our booth at the Convention Center. We’ll be there to answer all of your questions and talk WordPress. I’m sure we’ll also be looking for a good time once the doors close. Las Vegas is one of the great places to get away for a few days.

It must be pretty cool working with Automattic, then going to a conference where thousands of the attendees use your WordPress blogging platform.
I’d love to meet you and the WordPress team. I’ve heard Matt speak before at Elite Retreat but not too many people who do some of the development at WordPress.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend Blog World this year, and I’m kicking myself for it. Awesome that you went to vegas for the blog expo! I was there for 2 days and 2 nights and what a way to get away! Pub Con was great this year too, did you go to that as well?
