Looks like I won’t be making a trip to Myrtle Beach. I’ll be hitting up Indiana (or however far South we need to drive for good weather) instead. My Dad, a couple of his friends, and I will be making a 4 day trip at the end of the month. Now that something is scheduled I need to start working on my swing. I bought a weighted club the other day and plan to use it for 10-15 minutes a few times a week. Also visited the new golf center on Sunday and will be buying a range membership there so I can start hitting some balls.
My main goal for this year is to shorten my golf swing. During lessons last year I saw my swing for the first time. To say that I have a huge swing is an understatement. A guy’s body shouldn’t be able to twist and bend that far back. It brings all kinds of other problems into my swing and really makes golfing inconsistent for me.
I’ve changed my eating and workout habits over the last 6 weeks so I’m looking for improvements in my golf game there as well.
I played in Indiana today. Just north of Evansville at Cambridge. I play in southern Indiana every week. We’re having good enough weather in Louisville to play almost every day.

I am doing the same on the weight thing and everything is changing as I go. These changes are not for the good yet but after I get to where I want to be then things should improve.
