I was absent from the Poker Blogger tournament last night for three reasons:
- I didn’t feel like playing poker.
- I had TV shows to watch.
- I didn’t want to sign up for Titan Poker just to be able to play.
Why do the blogger events move to a new site each time?
I don’t mind it. Typically it’s a chance to help out fellow bloggers – like Iggy who set it up – and it’s a chance to support the growth of poker in general. Plus killer deposit bonuses usually.
There are also a few sites bloggers work at, thus can’t play at. Not sure that is an excuse every time, but honestly I don’t mind the new sites each time. I just didn’t play this time cause it was bad timing for family/money.
May the felt be with you…

I’m with you. It bothers me that one or two bloggers pitch a new site every month and sucker everyone into playing at these tournaments so they can get paid. Anybody can set up a tournament. Most sites have a very easy process to go about it.
I don’t mind bloggers making money. I just mind when they claim it’s so other bloggers can play. There are plenty of sites out there and bloggers don’t work for all of them. Why couldn’t we do it again at Noble? That was the same excuse they gave for using Noble in the first place. Now we have to sign up at Titan because somebody signed a ad deal with them? Screw that!
