On Saturday I went out to Genji’s, the local Japanese steakhouse. I’ve been to one other Japanese steakhouse, but it was at least 10 years ago in Florida. It was great food back then and great food this weekend. Since we were out celebrating a friend’s birthday, we got a round (which actually turned out to be enough for 2 rounds) of Sake. I’ve never drank a steaming alcoholic drink before, but if they all taste like Sake, I hope I never drink one again. That stuff smells nasty as hell and tastes even worse. At least I can say I’ve tried it.
