I’m working on a friends computer right now and the thing doesn’t even have a network card. I can’t remember the last time I saw a computer with only a modem. What did I get myself into?

I did one of those like a month ago. Luckily for me it was just a clean install. It was a Windows 98 machine, and if they asked me for anything more, they’d get an earful of technical gibberish basically meaning that it’d take forever to update. Erm, I take that back – you can’t update Windows 98 anymore. 😛
