  1. Here’s how it works:

Cash Tables: Action flops and bad-beats are incorporated to redistribute the wealth at each individual table. The more the money floats around between players, the more rake is taken. The rigging takes place on the Turn and River cards, sites like Full Tilt ‘re-shuffle’ the remaining cards after the hole cards and flop. FT states this is to further help randomise the cards, but it makes for a perfect opportunity to have bad-beat cards present themselves on the turn and river. Compare a heads-up between an experienced player and a noob: 15 mis later, the noob is broke, the other is richer, and the house gets say 50c in rake. Now have 2 experienced evenly-matched players heads-up, 4 hours later both are broke from the rake slowly eating at their rolls. That’s why sharks avoid other sharks. So back to shark vs noob, not much rake for the site, needs to be evened up so play is prolonged and more adequate rake is taken. So miracle turns and rivers are incorporated to keep the donk in the game. Now extrapolate this concept to full atbles and you have the jist of it. Put it this way; every time a donk bad beats someone with rags and doubles up, the house profit doubles too. Double the donk up twice and the house profit quadruples. The question of why would they rig their games is obvious: RAKE

The difference between .50c and $3.80 in rake is enough incentive anywhere. And its not like they are goin to get caught, most of the rigging comes after the flop, when the remaining cards are earnestly ‘re-shuffled’, even though the deck order has already been determined.

Tournament Play: Everybody knows about the bad beats happen, usually near the bubble, where lots of players get pairs or hands like AK, AQ JJ etc where there will be a lot of all-ins, especially when faced with stiff blinds. No need to rig a tournament you say? The fees have already been paid, no more rake is taken you say? What u might not understand is near the bubble, action flops are generated to help wind the tournament to a close, no sense keeping paying players involved in a game where they dont pay a rake anymore, plus each site has to pay for its bandwidth, so the quicker the tourney finishes, the more money made for the site. Players busted out of one tourney can always pay another fee and play in a nother tourney.

The cards are rigged to even the odds up a bit for the house, who wont make much money if the sharkes keep taking it off the donks and out the site, not giving it a chance to circulate a bit more and the site to eat up a bit more in rake.

Winning players are operating under a handicap, unawares. Theyre still good enough to win, they have adjusted to the rigging, and convinced themsleves its normal, or due to ‘variance’ etc,,,

These players should by rights be wiining lots more.

The poker sites wouldnt risk losing everything by rigging it you say?

Who the hell is going to find out? Their servers are based usually in places like Morrocco or Malta or somewhere very privacy friendly, or in Canada in private little Indian reserve land, subject to different laws.

What about hand histories? Wouldnt probabilities and statistics show up any erroneous activity and make rigging obvious to the trained eye?

It depends on what you are looking for. Unless you can get access to the balances and winning and losing streaks of all the players in, say, a 100,000,000 hand history analysis, youre not gonna find out squat, cos the beauty of the method is most tims its AFTER the flop when the cards are re-generated that the rigging takes place.

To do your own tests, you’ll need to set up a boiler room array, or some otherwise enable yourself to play at a table whee you can know and review all the hole cards dealt to the entire table, like playing as 6 people at once on the same table. Play ALL seats EXACTLY the same way, like a rock, have a very rigid starting hand regimen, and you will soon see predictable flops, flops you will be able to almost predict by using the cards kept as guides. Take anote of the flop cards and how they fit into the hands of players in the hand. Get a good history, and then change the style of all players to loose as heck, then watch the different flops come. Now try it with everyone calling no matter what, no raises, and see the flops generate very predictable hands.

Using these ‘experiments’ you can ‘reverse-engineer’the flop tendencies, you just have to think clearly about WHY certain cards are appearing to help or hinder you.

Usually, it’s what will keep the money in circulation, and what will entice more players to deposit, and how can this be manouvered to occur, is all you need ask.

Remember, poker sites are NOT your friend, they are a BUSINESS, and their business answers only to themselves, literally.

  4. Been playing for a couple of years and it’s the same old thing… do well consistanly, request a cash out.. then you lose lose lose.. I normally will win on average 2 out of 3 games on a 6 player 3 win double up..

After the cashout… with the exception of 1 win.. 13 consective losses. You tell me it’s not fixed..

Do the sites care.. NO.. because people keep coming back and the profit gain exceeds any losses from disgruntled players.. So everyone can complain forever and nothing will change…

  5. i’ve played all types of poker for 25 yrs now. between years of 97 to 05. i was employed with a fire alarm company. which we installed alot of evac. systems in new casinos in oklahoma. which gave me alot of time to play at real tables. in o5 i was hit by a drunk drive. since then i haven’t been able to drive myself to these casinos, and decide to try online poker. And have also notice ALL IN bets going to a underhand that wins with a bailout river card. In one day it happen 34 times to me. I haven’t lost 34 hands in a all in bet to a underhand winning on the river card in a whole year playing at a casino. and I have been dealt 60 straight hands without a ace, or any two face cards in pocket. notice alot of pairs on the flops. i can have a suit pocket, and never match suit on flops. i can win small pots all day, but if i go all in, or bet past a certain amount. A player will get a win off a hand that has 10% chance to win against a 90% chance to win hand at the time of bet. this will happen about 80% of the time. almost ever article i have read on here. is the truth. it’s a amazing that i found players with the same story . Also it’s sad to say , but i’am glad to find other player have had the same things happen to them. I think these sites get away with these rigged games is cause most of online player have only played on these sites so they don’t know when things are off tilt. you can piss on their heads, and tell them its raining. they don’t know any better. AND TO KEVIN refering to july o7 statement. THIS IS A BOLD STATEMENT TO YOU. I’M WILLING TO FLY, OR HAVE SOMEONE TO DRIVE ME TO YOU. AND WILL LET YOU HAVE 500 DOLLARS OF MY OWN MONEY, AND ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS COME UP WITH ANOTHER 5OO. SO WILL BOTH HAVE 1000 TO START WITH..and will see who’s a fuckin idiot. These is almost the same deal i offered to play the best player Sportsbook backs. I was so dam mad i called those bastards offered to fly to porta rico. and give there best player 500 dollars to play me with, and lets see at a real table if they can get there river bailout cards. and lets see how many 7 2 pockets i get. I even ask them to call three casinos i’ve played at to help them understand my play abilties. then i even requested them to play around 50 to 100 hands on my account. they said no to all these. so i asked to just have a security personal watch me play. wont do that either. all there really willing to do is send some pre-written email about cards are dealt on a radom basics. which is B. S.

  6. “Rigged Poker Stars”,”Full Tilt Rigged”,”Ultimate Rigged Bet”,”Rigged Poker Players Only”,”Sportsbookrigged Poker” are the names these poker sites should be doing business under. They all claim to offer a fair game of poker using rng algorithims which eliminate the possibility of “programmed” hands. And they will all deny the use of their own “programmed bots”. And they will explain how hand histories are monitored for abnormalities or betting inconsistencies. Anybody who has played online rigged poker has witnessed on-table action that defies anything close to being possible. Why? Because it is not randomly possible for this type of action to occur time and time again and again. How often have you thought,”that’s impossible” only to see it happen again. For those of you who may be considering online rigged poker…Beware. Invest your money as if you were paying to see Michael Jackson’s ghost perform. You’ll buy your ticket because of a faint hope it might be possible. After all, millions of others were buying. As the show begins…it seems like magic. Then like a flash of light the illusion becomes reality. You’ve been scammed, slammed and stuffed. Stuffed like a donkey. And that’s “online poker”.

All you have to do is look at the odds. The odds of “hand probability”, available to us all. These are mathematical facts. Something online poker should not be able to claim.

  8. I’ll share my story. Started with $50 at Full Tilt Poker and mostly donked it away in tourneys playing badly. Reloaded another $50 and decided to play solid poker.

Eventually placed ITM for $900+ in a MTT and decided to turn that into some serious money. $300 in tournament fees later, I came in 3rd in the 24k guarantee for $1700+ which put my balance at a little over $2300. I was very pleased at this point, and I put in a withdrawal for $1300.

That was a little over two weeks ago. Since then, I haven’t been able to get ITM on any MTT despite playing solid poker. Nearly every time I put it all in PF with AA or KK, I get sucked out on by a small pair or some moron with a 97 of hearts who calls a big PF raise.

My theory is that as soon as a player takes money OUT of the system, a “luck” toggle on their account is set to “BAD” so they will lose their bankroll and have to reload.

There was a poster above who said they never take out more than half of their balance and keep playing rake tables so as to keep their account from getting flagged as taking the money out. Probably a GOOD idea.

I JUST NOW had AK ($3.30 90 plr SNG) and raised the 500 BB up to 1300 and he called with 97 hearts. Flop 97A. He shoves, I call and he shows me his 2pr. Disgusting that he would even make that call, much less FLOP 2 PAIR.

I think that my “luck” switch has been set to “BAD” at Full Tilt due to my “big” withdrawal. I have already pissed away 90% of the 1k bankroll I kept in the account on tourney fees, so I am just going to play $3.30 90 man SNGs for fun, KNOWING the odds are stacked against me.

Bottom line: When you WIN, put some of that money back via ring games and don’t withdraw unless you plan on NEVER playing on FTP again.

Making a new account with a new email address might also work, but I haven’t tried that…

  9. after a few years of playing online poker once a month for a few days and playing about the same at casino’s i have little doubt that online poker is rigged, if not by the company itself then by “cheaters” who have a certain kind of software program that lets them see either other players cards or has access to what the cards will be before the flop, turn and river cards are dealt….like a lot of people on here i have seen to many weird things happen that you never hardly see if you play in casino’s or even home games… i have played/deposited on several online sites over the years and the same thing happens every one… for the first month i cant do know wrong, win some $$$$ and after a few weeks i can never do good ever again no matter how long i stick with it and how many deposits i make.. also after initial success at tournements(the typical example will be finishing in a final table 3-4 times the first month, then after that if i ever get close to a final table say with 15-20 players in a payout of ($1000-$20,000 for first place), i will get knocked out by somone who goes calls my all in when i have aa or kk for example and they have 2-9 offsuit or 64 offsuit or j-2 off, etc,, and low and behold they hit there miracle card on the turn and river to get them two pair.. i have had that happen when i get to the final table literally dozens of times…. this this after that player appeared to be the tightest player on the table.. notice i didnt say they pushed with their shit cards, they called their shit cards after i went all in….. also i have lost hundreds of dollars on a hand in a cash game for example i have 9-9 and the flop is say a k 3… i make a pot size bet and they just call… the next card is a “6”…… my poker instincts tell me he is full of shit and has nothing an i go all in and he just calls and all he has when we flipped the cards over is he has queen high-rag.. no draw of any kind and this is what he calls my all in with a pot around $1000 we turn the cards over and my 9-9 is looking good all he has is q 2…….. and low and behold what card appears but his queen and he wins almost $1000 on won hand calling his queen high-rag after i pushed him all in…..and this is just one case of dozens that either happend to me or i have seen happen to other players… the players or so called players in question will appear to be tight and good but then when it appears they make such dumb mistakes they get rescued by either a runner-runner hit or on river….. you could say that it is “just poker: but when i see this happen almost every time i play a cash game over a few hundred dollars or more.. or on tournements with good payouts…yet when i go to casinos i rarely and if it happens you will only see this maybe once twice if you play for days but i never see this kind of thing happen.. now some people say it is because online poker hands go so much more faster then live play at casinos and therefor because you see more hands you see alot more variety of weird things happen… i have to disagree.. when i play in casinos and i play for several hours a day when im there the average person takes anywhere 1-10 seconds to decide to play or fold a hand… online poker especiall if you play long enough you see that when it gets to some players turn they take up all the time up to a minute to play a hand because they either have a bad connection, there playing multiple games at same time or there downloading porn probably and some hands can take3-7 mintutes to play because of it.. especially if it gets to the same player time after time and he delays the game……i tried to give online poker the benifit of the doubt but no matter what site you are on, i see the same things….. and it is like doyle brunson says,, when you think something is amiss it probably is… based on my poker gut and instincts online poker is either fixed and rigged by the company, or by players who minipulate the system… it would be nieve and have to have your head in the sand to think otherwise… i will save my poker money for casino;s and home games… why get frustrated at something you cant control or do anything about.. the online companies are making so much $$$ that they dont really care about the integrity of their game and there is to much money out there not for scammers to try and get in on it…. save your money and frustration….

  10. I agree with the sentiment of most of the comments here. I have had similar experiences as so many others here. I have played at Full Tilt, Absolute, Ultimate Bet, Bodog, Players Only, Doyle’s and Sportsbook. The latter three happen to belong to the same family of sites (Cake Poker)

The one common denominator at every site that I start at is that I initially win. I play a tight game in general (unlike many people who play internet poker) I play mostly cash games, but lately I have been trying more tournaments. I really stick to this general style and refuse to tilt when I take a tough beat. After the initial success, (this seems to go against the grain if you think about it. Why do beginners win? Shouldn’t it be the more seasoned players?)I suddenly hit an incredible cold streak. We’re talking going from winning 14 out of 20 sessions to like winning 2 out of 20 sessions) As many others have already stated, this has happened after I have requested a payout or after earning the initial “bonus”. Two other common comments from others totally rang true with me. There are far too many “action hands” due to the laws of probability. Besides the unusual amount of pairs that seem to happen on the same hands, it seems like I see way too many “action flops”. In 9-10 player tables, it is not uncommon to see three people go all in. One player will have like two pair, the other the nut flush draw, and a third player will hit like three fours. Just seems far too coincidental for my liking. The last three tourneys I have gone all in with A-A to K-K (preflop), A-10 to 5-5 when the flop predictably came A-10-5, and my personal favorite Q-Q to Q-9 after the flop came 2-2-10. After we got all in after the flop (What is he doing all-in on this hand anyway?) the turn and river came K, and then J for him to hit the gutshot on the river. It isn’t even a surprise to me anymore when this stuff happens. I now only play tourneys with my “free points” and I will not give these crooks another dime. I actually got a nice payout from Bodog (after waiting several weeks) but suddenly every straight I hit went down to somebody else’s river flush, flushes lost to river full houses, etc… You all know the drill. In my opinion, all of the Cake sites have been the worst. I can’t tell you how many 1-2 outers I have seen get there (lots of hands when I’m not even involved) at Sportsbook, Players Only, and Doyle’s) Until on-line becomes regulated, we are all screwed. Who can you really complain to when it comes right down to it? The Better Business Bureau in some island country?

  13. But I have noticed the exact same things.. Start with $20, go up to $200. Then can NEVER win a hand. If I have qq, someone else has kk. If I have aa, some beats me with 6 9 off.

It is similar to seeing a magician. You know it is fake, but cannot figure out exactly how.

That is online poker. It is simply “goofy” for lack of a better term. The swings seem to be a bit to outrageous.

When you really thin about it, how stupid are we for investing money in some offshore computerized gambling site? No matter what, it is always chalked up to “bad beats” or “thats just gambling”.

How many of you have watched the 60 minutes piece where the guy lost hundreds of thousands because some players could see his cards? Of course he had no recourse either. Do you think that was a one time incident?

  14. Looking forward to the day these site owners are all behind bars. They are as corrupt as any other organized crime syndicate. I wouldn’t put another dime in any site. The cards correlate to your deposits, when you deposit, how often and how much you deposit. It all about the money. Not how good you can play. They feel its time for you to make a deposit it will happen. If you withdraw your winnings be prepared to lose for a while. Its so corrupt its sickening they are not all shut down. Who is this Kahnawake Gaming Commission. What a joke that is. All these pros’s who endorse this BS should be ashamed of themselves. Sold your soul to the devil. Rot in Hell!!!

  16. They are all a scam. Some advice for all of you is to e-mail the sites and get blocked from playing to force yourselves from losing more of your hard earned money and contributing to a corrupt overseas outfit, where who knows what corrupt intentions the profits go to.
Save all the money that you would spend online and fly to Vegas or Atlantic City once a year and play where you aren’t playing against the software and bots.
