You guys it’s pretty simple that we all know that poker sites or any website has been programmed, so the possiblities of it being riged is very likely and can be tampered with either by the site it self and their employee’s or a hacker from the outside but regardless i have to say through experience of playing poker online and live poker in casinos and card rooms i’d prefer the casinos and not will not play at online poker sites and cardrooms mainly because the poker sites can be riged and or tampered with and it’s to difficult to cash out and wait for it. I hate card rooms it’s to small and everyone know each other and their to many house players so it’s better to play at casinos period.

Agree with all who say its one big scam…Lets face it,its not about been sore losers or people saying were amatuers,that the PROS dont complain.its just if im going putting any of my bankroll at risk i sure the hell dont want the odds stacked against me and being the victim of a lucrative business.Anyone like to guess how much these sites make in a year,hey lets even say 3 months…Now tell me you honestly think anything that involves that sort of money isnt subject to being rigged!!!!

All I have to say, is stay away from pokerstars, I could name 1000 incidents that mirror what everyone has said here. Tell you what, watch some WSOP or WPT ect. on TV, and you tell me which site most amateur-pros wear on thier clothing ect. I am officially done with pokerstars starting tonight. If there was one site I have seen people complain LEAST about on this thread it is Full Tilt…and Paradise (but does not accept U.S. players anymore). Full Tilt has more legitimate faces of pro players representing them. Sure Daniel is on pokerstars but he has publicly said online poker is a joke.

I NO LONGER WIN, EVER.
1 full year of horrible play and zero profit from pokerstars after a dream beginning.
Done deal and enough of that, I will try Full Tilt for a couple months but if the action hands, undercard beats, and overall bad vibes carry to Full Tilt..well then i’m just done with online poker and back to commerce and the bicycle for me.

I completely agree. So tempted to just deposit like $200
go 5/10NL and just all in on a 4-6os or something disgusting.
It is so frustrating and it is really just putting me to the point where I am questioning my play. I am a great player in homegame and casino, but like most of us play online because it is so convenient. I cant wait for the day that Pokerstars gets raided and sued, and we all get our money back.They literally sit on a Mt. Everest stack of cash, ridiculous.
I know both of my posts seem like total steam. Well maybe that is true, but after a year of almost every-day-play, and going to sleep EVERYDAY steamed because 85% of my hands were bad beats, im literally just out of steam.
If anyone ever opens a petition for an investigation on Pokerstars PLEASE post the link everywhere including here. I swear on all if they ever find these guys guilty, we will be getting ALL that money back.

i also agree with all those who thinks its a scam and rigged.
i started playing 6 months ago. before then i didt have a clue about poker. now i love the game. i have done the reading, joined the coaching sites etc and now consider myself a reasonable player.
im not flash and dont bluff too much, so when i bet its normally because i have a decent hand. i play on paddypowerpoker and i have to say its totally disgusting the beats that happen on an almost continual basis. i joined absolute poker too but left after 2 days when i lost 12, yes, i said 12, pre flop AA and KK’s in a row. all to total junk.
a few examples of the beats i’ve had in the last 3 days on paddypower, and they really are just a few.
AA pre flop and player A raises pre flop. i go all in and he turns up QQ. cards come down JT498.
AK suited pre flop and i raise OTB. player A calls with 3 5 suited. flop K93. i raise and player A calls. turn = x. same again, i raise and he calls. river comes another 3. wtf.
33 OTB no limpers. i raise and SB calls, BB folds. i flop a set with 364. i raise and plaer A re raises so i go all in. player A calls and turns over 5 2 os.
AA pre flop again so i raise. player A calls from OTB, everyone else folds. flop T82 and i raise and player A calls. turn = K, again i raise and player A calls. river = 2. i go all in and player A calls and turns over 9 2 os.
one day i’ll win $400 playing $0.25-0.50 in a few hours trying to build a bankroll to move up levels, and the next day its suckout after suckout and i’m playing exactly the same.
i actually complained to the site and asked them to review my session as it was statistically impossible for these idiots to keep hitting mirace cards and draws on me. i got the normal reply of more hands per hour etc on online poker.
im gonna stop playing online and stick to live B&M games. i have played 5 B&M games to date and won 4 of them so i guess at worst i have at least some idea of what im doing. the fact that im constanty being sucked out by total idiots online has convinced me that this has nothing what-so-ever to do with real poker. the whole thing is a total scam. big time.
for those of you who honestly believe otherwise, i say to you this……
either you work for or are being paid by these sites to say that its all fair and totally random…or…….youre playing with your eyes closed and youre heads up youre arse’s.
sorry for the language but i only speak the truth and most of you out there know it too..

I switched to Ultimate Bet for a while. I won $2 on the free rolls, and went to the 50cent SNG’s. I was up to $24 in less than two weeks. (All this time I was losing every game on FTP and PStars, If I’m just a bad player, why am I only bad on sites I’ve been on for a while. And why do I win consistently in live games?) Not bad considering I only play 2 or three nights a week. I only lost 3 times. But I hit the doom switch much quicker on this site. Now I win the first tourney I play every week and take down less than 10% of the pots after that. I play tight and make it to the final four or five regularly. But I’m winning under 12% of the pots with 4 or fewer players at the table.
Nonetheless, I have found a way to make money in online poker. If you’ve played for a while, you know how the cards fall. Find gullible friends and predict the cards that will come. If you’re good at predicting you can give them favorable odds. For instance, after a flopped rainbow and a second club on the turn I gave 2 to 1 that the river would be the turn. In a square deal you’d be a sucker not to take that. I said I’d pick the winner too for 3 to 1. I was right. I lost the tourney but made $15 on that hand alone. Go to FTP and predict the bring-ins. That’s the easiest way to win. Unfortunately, my friends have become less naive after giving me a few hundred dollars. They won’t bet me, or play on-line.

Thanks for all the advice and stories I had no idea people were going through the same thing I was and the bad luck online. I’m not a bad player as I have been playing for years and have cashed at live tourney’s and casinos lots, however; why was I always losing online with bad beats? I know theres no proof but I’d rather invest from now on in a legal establishment then waste any more money online. Online play started to make me confidence drop a bit because I kept loosing in bad or unusual situations, but after reading all these posts I feel a lot better. Thank you everyone!

People listen up….. scam and cheating happens and I know that as a fact without going into specific sittuations that I know of in defense of individuals and the business.
There are people who hold 5 seats in a 6 seat room or 8 or 9 in a 10. There are people who can take screenshots of your hand throught FPT servers and specific software and have the picture of your hole hand emailed for their email address instantly while playing. There are people whmo use RNG software, not the one selling online but “unofficial ones” which can tell the flop cards even before they hit the table. There’s people whom receive detailed information about other hands from people who work inside online poker rooms. The reality is this when you enter a poker room:

or
Be Cheated
If you don’t like any of those, then stay away.
You might win some to boost your confidence or because you get lucky in not getting the big boss in yoru table…. but sooner or later you will get and believe me you will losse your money. I know this to be true and if you knew me and who I am you would believe.
Use your hard earned money to buy a present to your wife or your kids or to your own satisfaction, not to loose it to cheaters. Be smart. Want to play poker play live never over the net.

Ok I will chime in, playing pokerstars off and on over a year. More for entertainment but I get disgusted in how they have programmed the website to induce action. Many times in a double or nothing game of ten players when it gets down to 6 or 7 players the program entices players to call or play, or all in by giving live cards such as one player pair of nines, other pair of Queens, and one more person pair of aces. As I used to work on video poker machines I know they can be set up to percentage win losses, and program to entice play such as showing lots of 7’s to keep you playing if it is a game that pays pots on 3 7’s. For online poker I am not pissed about losing money , I am just pissed the site is rigged to make certain players to win for whatever reason. As mentioned in other post probably rigged so new players are enticed with winning streaks at the sacrifice of other players.
Why is there not a real poker site, with real randomized dealing of cards? I can only think it must be as mentioned before to profit they need to end as many games as soon as possible as they get paid only for each sitn go tourney. So is there any site , or game type that does offer real randomized play that anyone knows of? I only play sitngo’s , but maybe other formats may not be fixed as pokerstars sitngo plays are.
Anyway nothing can be done becuase the U.S. government has no jurisdiction over these websites. Report the website and your in jail for illegal gambling. Best not to play at all online until there is a record of a website with real randomization of cards. And from all the posts it seems many sites are setup to entice play in one form or another instead of just facilitating play as it should be.

listen i think its the dumass people that play online every hand u got sum tool trying to suck out on really if they where good they would fold to your bet when theres a flush out there and they have a set but there dum losers clicking away and i think its rigged two sumtimes when im playing a tour and its takeing to long to break into the money they give sum guy jj and another guy qq just to get the all in to move the game on i play live alot and when i play 1-2 with a bunch of retards they do the samething get over it the whole game is rigged the pros are just losers that suck at life so thay play poker trying to make them selfs cool when there just sum fat loser that cant get laid online is a scam cause of the dum people u play with. wheres the burn card??????? how the fuck do they shuffle?????? its bs a computer cant be complety ramdom! can it????? i play live and c the same shit happen. as of bad beats check the odds if u folp a flush and sumone has trips its like 63 37 that means about 4 out of then times they will win!!!!!!! and listen up when a jerk off calls ur all in with 89 suited its 80 20 that means 2 out of 10 times the jerk of will win and online is faster so it seams like 50 50 and u will seam to forget how many times u sucked out on people but only remember when u get sucked out on. i think its rigged but not to bad the hi limet i think is def full of hackers and bots and the server giveing people cooler hands to get a rake or take out people. i know its fishey i think u play the low limets and the only thing u got to worry about is the dum people u are play against and right b4 the bubble when it comes to the money if u got chips u might just want to fold even if u got kings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know why people think it is rigged, it wouldnt suprise me. i would nto say i am a pro but i am a good player, normally when i put money on i win atleast 5 sit and go’s in a row then seem to lose alot to bad beats and people making donkey bets. what i do now is when i deposit and whin over $25 on PKR i withdraw everytime i can over that so when i go on a losing streak i dont lose anything or just not alot. i see high pocket pairs a hell of alot and people going all in like mentioned above. i also see some players calling big bets pre flop and going all in alot but doing very well in sit and go’s….maby the saim is to play like a donkey and you will end up a winner lol on PKR the river seems to make people lose alot, i c people going all in pre-flop with stupid hands like 8 2 and beating AA, which i know going all in with anything is leaving it down to luck but how often can AA the hand with the highest odds lose ? i dont think it is rigged i just think the way hands are dealt is a bit dodgey… i dont know when it tells you what hand is being playd it meens which hand is littrelly being playd or is like a reference for the website incase something happens. when i play a sit and go the hands like i am currently the last 3 hands was 616679148, 616679856 and 616679148 very similar numbers, if they are the computer generated hands for example if 616679856 ever came up twice it would be exactly the same hand, why not let a computer generate every possible hand in poker then give you random ones not ones very close together, out of the millions of hands what are the odds of playing a hand in 616679*** 3 in a row and all the way through the tourny ? and if they just meen the hand number so its just a reference not relevent to the cards why would they go up and down, surely they would go just up as they are being recorded lol if this makes any sense to anyone please comment if you know the facts to this. i agree with what marc says above me about being close to the bubble in a tourny..just fold no matter what the hand as iv seen many go out with KK and AA to stupid bets pre flop

I honestly believe, poker like any other form of gambling the odds are against you. Poker is 80% luck if not more. Pros become pros because they have dedicated more hours in. Like anything with long hours and dedication the cards have to fall your way. If you spoke to 10 pros and asked them the question..’are you trully happy with what poker has given financially, the answer has to be NO.
I love poker and as of yesterday i will spend no more time and money invested. It has costed me 50k in the last 15 months and 100s of hours. You might say why so much money? because i was looking for that pot of gold that comes to the lucky few. Poker should be kept to a hobby limit and played with people you know in a fun enviroment. Save yourself the time and money…
just say you one a major torny…would you go back and try and win again? Yes of course…you will go back again, again and again until you lost your bank roll…results give confidence and problem with poker, confidence ends up being a financial disaster. People keep looking at the pros and say if its good for them, its good for me…but you have to remember pros get paid well on the side through book sales, apearences and online poker sites pay them side incomes too…
Wake up, smell the roses and find a passion to a hard working proven way of making success….Start a traditional business or online business. Dont buy into someone elses business or a online scam. Start your own idea of business and make your dreams a reality. Gambling is for the lazy and the drunks. You deserve the best and i do to.

I play no limit in Florida every day and consider myself an excellent player. I am totally convinced that online poker is rigged. If you withdraw money, I guarantee you will loose whatever you have left in your account in a few days. Sound familiar. You than go through the same pattern again and again until you smarten up.
Online poker should be legalized , controlled and taxed. It would boost our economy and stop the online dealers from setting up the game

You know i got so frustrated with full tilt i decided to track all the aa and kk preflops all in. I was going to track the 10,000 hands but i decided not to waste my money trying to help out the idiots who think its legit. Long story short, for the two months i did track and i have an exact 50 percent win percentage with both hands. That means if i play flawlessly the best i can ever hope to do is break even. Naturally after a month of this crap there was no way for me not to be on tilt. 10 hours a day on the microstakes sngs, couldn’t make a nickle. Two months is more than enough sample for me to realize i’m giving this up.

I think I should comment. I have been playing for 6 years. first two live, then next 4 online. I actually only played online for maybe 2 years, because I take 6 month breaks from online poker.
The reason I take these breaks, is because after building my bankroll in B&M casinos, I end up donkeying or losing all my hard earned cash in a matter of 2 days or 1 week at online poker to the worst suck outs ever. Each time I think it is rigged and I have tried almost every poker online site. THEY ARE ALL FACKING RIGGED. The CASH GAMES/RING GAMES are DEFINITELY RIGGED. The tournaments, maybe less so. Each time you win a big tourny though, the natural tendency is to go play ring games.
After losing my entire bank roll playing high stakes online ring games in <24 hours, I am forever done with online poker. I hope people learn from my mistake and never play online.

I firmly believe that online poker is rigged. I’ve been playing for about three years now and have played Party Poker, Absolute, Doyle’s Room, Full Tilt, Poker Stars, Ultimate Bet, and Players Only. There’s not a doubt in my mind that the number generator is rigged to give alot of monster hands in order to build big rakes at cash tables. I use to give the sites the benefit of the doubt, but no more. The sheer amount of monster hands and crazy suckouts is just completely ridiculous as compared to what you see dealing from a real deck of cards. There’s nothing random about these so-called random number generators. Anyone who plays alot of “live” poker knows this. You don’t catch pocket Aces three times in 20 minutes and lose those hands all-in preflop. It’s completely ridiculous.

I see here a lot of the same problems with online poker I have experienced. I was screwed out of my bit of cash through some hands you also might recognize — You get two pair on the flop, they get a full house, you get a pair of aces down, they get a straight and almost always the winning hand is made on the river while you have bet great amounts sure you should win. Something else I noticed — the person who is down to their last bit and goes all in or someone who just joined the table, usually wins. I believe this is done to encourage further play. It is was extremely frustrating because I know how to play, but no one can beat a computer programmed to make money for the site.

I am new to logging into online poker and the odds in which I was taken ( tried to do the math) are nearly impossible. Will not be playing poker for money online again. I believe it is rigged.

listen to me now and hear me latah..u can check my name in playersonly i made 8500 in 3 weeks playing there and all was good for a month..im a good player i think i have many modes of playing stiles and made alot of cash at casinos playin live..but when i wanted to withdraw the money from playersonly for 2 checks of 2500 it took 3 weeks and still didnt go through yet so i was waiting for checks to go through b4 i played with the money i had left in the system just to see if they actualy paid so time went on and still the checks wernt even sent yet..they said they were having problems so i said fk it ill wait and play with the money i had in there and boom it went in a heart beat i bubbled in 25 sngs straight to bullshit calls and miracle river beats..i played in a cash game on there 25 50 and on that table i got called pre from a 300 raise that i made to 7 4 off suite and flop came 774 i check he checks turn was an ace i check he rr pot i smooth call and flop was another 7 i check he goes all in i insta call and lost 1200…what im tryna say is they set u up with someone who calls and gives it to them so u tilt and tell them give me one of my checks back and same shit happens and tilt somemore and eventualy lose it all back..thats online poker with those guys..huge scam they are..4 weeks of waiting for my checks to go through then they make me lose all my cash so they dont lose any money and the world goes round and round..i will never trust an online poker site ever again..yeah thats rght like someone said pro’s play and they dont cry,well because if they scammed them they would be saying there sitte is a scam and they would lose a ton of buisness..what im tryna say again is they pick and choose who they will let win..they wouldnt dare let pro’s get mad so they keep there cards honest but others its game on..becarefull and never play on players only
