  1. I dont think steriods help a hole lot with power numbers. They may make the homeruns go further, but they dont help the players hit the ball.

  2. As a fan who’s been watching the whole season, it seems like the umpires are slowly reverting back to the smaller strike zone. That makes a huge difference, and the power numbers could be attibuted in part to that.

  3. yes they do make a difference. i read that by taking steriods it can help you hit 50 percent more home runs by increasing the muscle by only 10 percent. By putting on 10 percent more muscle you can swing 5 times faster which increasing the balls speed by 4 percent as soon as it leaves the bat. “Adding to this speed you get a 50 percent more chance to get a home run” said by Roger Tobin of Tufts University in Boston.

  4. Of course steriods make a differnce, look at the guys that have broke baseball’s two major records the single season homerun record and the all time homeruns, Bonds, Sosa, Mcgwire, all steriod abusers, put two and two together.

  5. Lets keep it real, Black Athletes dont need no damn steroids. Griffey has 600 homeruns and missed about 5 seasons worth of games.

If Griffey used steroids in his career there is no way he would have lasted this long in the major leagues after 5 Injury Shortened Seasons over his career. There are a few thinga he has that many athletes dont, its called Natural Dominance in a Competitive Environment (Being better than the competitor is fueled by the fact that he is geneticly inclined in thought, athletic competition, passion for the sport and, skill. The same could be said for Barry Bonds, the whole issue of steroids didnt come up until he Broke Records.

Last I checked the best home run hitters of this so-called “steroid era” were Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, David Justice and Frank Thomas. All Black players who were consistent homerun hitters until recently, never had to use steroids to gain an edge, they already had it. The players that should be in question are Roger Clemens, Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, and Mike Hampton. White players have to cheat to make up for their short comings against black athletes. God-forbid a Black athlete destroy his white counterpart. Tiger Woods, Venus, Serena, any football player, and any basketball player, have proven that white athletes cannot fully compete against black athletes when placed in a financially even situation. Thus dispelling any rumor or mention ofblack players and steroids.

Get ur mind correct, Bonds just had a practice ethic, desire to be the best, and addiction to success that couldnt be matched by anyone else
