  1. I had an old lady rear end me a few months ago. She got out of her car and yelled at how I hit the brakes too fast. She actually called me a youngster! Now, I’m usually the one hitting people, but she wanted my insurance information. When I had to write it down for her because she forgot her glasses, I was laughing on the inside. I never heard from her. Maybe her insurance agent had a clue that she was at fault. There should definately be driver’s ed tests for people every 2-5 years after they turn 60.

  2. 😈 I think that if a elderly person so chooses to drive past the age of 60 that they should sign a concient form at the dmv stating that they agree that if they cause a death because of their negligence that they will serve jail time, regardless of what medical condition caused the accident. Then maybe they will hang their keys to their land yaughts up for good…nuff said

  5. Feb 13, 2006 I was stopped for a school bus (with its lights flashing and stop sign out!!!!) and a 73 year old lady decided to smash into me at 50 miles per hour. (Mind you we had just had a huge snow storm in CT and the ice and snow was melted by afternoon) I got out of my car crying, my thumb was broken and leg badly bruised, on top of massive whip lash because I didn’t see it coming at all. She preceded to yell at me saying my brake lights didn’t work…She then preceded to tell the cop she slid on ice…there was no ice…I went to the hospital, my car was totalled and I’m still in the process of sueing her. Yes …I totally agree old people shouldn’t be on the road after a certain age.

  6. I totally agree with you all. I just got slammed into by a 71 year old lady. I was on a one way street in the far left lane. This old fart bag lady was in the center lane and as I was beside her she slammed right into the side of my car. The car I was driving was a rental car because my car was in the shop due to an accident a few week ago where a 19 year old kid slammed into me on I5. Traffic stopped for some reason and this kid with his Fiero didn’t notice that everyone was stopped and just slammed right into the back of my car.

    Be defensive if you can. Don’t drive in the fast lane during rush hour and watch out for old people.

  7. im trying to do a report of people shouldnt drive over 75. but i cant find anything. This is going to be really hard! But i really cant stand old people. Where i live a 85 year old lady forgot to put her card in reverse and she ran right into convient!

  8. i am also doing a report on why old people shouldn’t drive. it is pretty hard but aftre reading these i kindof have some ideas of what to say!! old people definately shouldnt be out on the road. every one that disagrees w/ me usually say its not fair cuz they need to get places too.. but i would rather stay alive than them be out on the road!! they cause waayyy too much accidents!

  11. i dont think that old people r stupid but i do think they need to retire at the age of 60 or if they carry on driving at least look where u r going. for health and safety reasons i think it would be betta if they dont drive at night

  12. Two people were killed in Berkeley last week near campus both by drivers over 70 and they both seem to be getting away without any punishments.

  16. I THINK OLD PEEPS SHOULD NOT DRIVE CAUSE THEY’RE OLD AND THEY CAN NOT SEE WHERE THEY’RE GOING PLUS THEY DRIVE SUPER SLOW THEY DRIVE CORVETTS AROUND BUT WHAT’S THE POINT ON DRIVING ONE IF THEY DRIVE IT 30MPH
