Does anyone know of any authors that write books similar to Dan Brown’s style?
- Short chapters
- Bits of history blended into the plot
- Story takes place in a short amount of time
- Good character development
- Code breaking
- Suspense
I need something new to read…
Shawn Haigin’s “The Rozabal Line” is spectactular – filled with the same fast pace action thriller and encrypted messages. “The Sinai Secret” by Gregg Loomis. “The 6 Sacred Stones” by Matthew Reilly.

Steve Berry has written excellent historical fictions. Im on his latest work, the Charlamagne Pursuit, and it is just as good as his other novels.

If you like Dan Brown then you have to try CHRIS KUZNESKI books. Lots of adventure and twists in a similar style to DB.

I recently read ‘I Am Legend’. Sorry, its not really similar, except to say, that it was something I read non-stop, like I did with DC. Chapters are not moderate in length, but the entire book was only 178 pages. Also, please don’t think of the movie AT ALL when you read it. It has vampires, the main character is isolated on his own, and the similarities end there. Happy reading!
Oh… I can’t resist commenting on Dan Brown’s writing. I like to refer to it as the junk food of books, but oh how I LOVE my junk food! Read all his stuff, and I’m waiting on his next book! Abuse my short attention span, I demand it!

Adam Palmer’s “The Moses Legacy.” This is NOT the same Adam Palmer as the one who wrote a critique of the Da Vinci Code.

I read a snip it the other day but can’t find it now. It compared the new author to Dan Brown and I thought the title of the book was God’s Voice. It takes place in Europe amongst the many cathedrals , monasteries and holy places. However, I can’t find the authors name nor the book title online. Has anyone heard of it ?

I believe the author is Bill Myers. He has written a series called The Voice of God. The book for which he was compared to Dan Brown was called The Voice. I am going to buy it tomorrow and will let you know what I think.
