Wal-Mart Stalker

I don’t think I ever mentioned it before, but I also have a stalker at Wal-Mart! And…I saw him there today, which was kind of weird after what happened online last night.

A few months ago Heather and I were doing some shopping at Wal-Mart. I was going down one of the aisles by myself when some guy, maybe slightly younger than me, stopped and claimed to know me from somewhere. He then asked me where I work and some other stuff I can’t remember. I started walking away as soon as possible. I met up with Heather in another aisle and we continued to show all over the store for different things we were looking for. Well…this guy followed us and we saw him probably like 10 times in completely different/odd places of the store where it could not just have been a coincidence.

Today I was picking up some cleaning supplies and things for my new place and as I walked down an aisle I noticed him right away. He said, “Hi.” I said it back and kept going. I heard him from behind me say something like, “Hey, aren’t you from…” I didn’t turn around. What a weirdo. As soon as he was out of sight I called Heather to tell her and we both had a good laugh.

  1. That same thing happened to me at Target…some random guy came up to me and was asking where he knew me from. He asked where I worked, where I went to school, what my major was, and after that i was like i need to get right out of here….weird.

  2. How strange! That same thing happened to my boyfriend and I tonight at Walmart. We were walking around the store looking for various items when a woman- fairly young- approached us wondering where we were from, where we worked, etc. We politely moved on, but noticed her in the same area we were the whole time, never actually shopping and often making eye contact with us. Finally, as we went to leave she came again and tried to sell us on her E-Commerce business. She said we looked ‘sharp’. Needless to say, we declined. I wouldn’t want to be a part of any company that requires it’s employees to stalk people at Walmart!

  3. I was followed around Wal-Mart in a similar situation. I noticed him first hanging around my car in the parking lot. Then strange things started happening around my house. Then he came up to me at Wal-Mart and started mentioning things that had to do with my life. From the beginning he gave me the creeps. Nobody believed me, but when a similar thing happened to a girl I know and the guy had the same description I went to the police. They were willing to go undercover to catch the guy but, the idiot wore his work outfit to talk to me at W-M so I told them where he worked. If he ever does anything to anyone I want to be able to testify in court against him.

  4. I had a very similar situation at a WalMart. He started by pretending I was in his way while looking for cereal. I kept moving out of the way and then he started asking me random questions. Somehow he was able to find out where I worked and area of town I live in. He mentioned he was single and it was tough eating alone and asked if I would join him for dinner. I told him I had a boyfriend.

After thet I kept seeing him in almost every isle I went down. He kept showing up in the strangest places in the store. I even when out of my way to go in odd isles to get away from him. He kept asking me to go to dinner with him.

Finally I told him I knew he was following me and to stop. Then I pretended to go check out and then left the check out lane to go get something else. He left his checkout lane too and came over to where I was and told me he just wanted to say good by. I said, “okay, good by” and then ignored him. I saw him checking out and I went clear across the store and waited a long time before checking out. I told the cashier that I was being stalked by a customer and asked that I be walked to my car.

They walked me to my car, but the kid that walked me didn’t take it seriously. I was so mad! After I left, I went to the gas station around the corner…and there he was! I looked everywhere and did not see a car he could have possibly driven up in. He said before you leave I need to get your number. I told him no, and that I had a boyfriend.

I ended up driving to a police station and sitting in the parking lot. I called people to let them know where I was. I also called the walmart and spoke to security. I gave them a description of the guy and described what had happened. I dont think they took me seriously. I will never shop there again!

Please be careful out there!!!! People are nuts and you can never be too careful these days!
