I got my new cell phone today from Verizon Wireless. It’s a Kyocera SE47 Slider Phone and I love it! It’s smaller than my previous phone and so compact. I’ve never liked the flip phones so when I saw this one I had to have it.

I haven’t had any problems with mine. I’ve dropped it several feet onto pavement or cement and it still works like a charm. I get great service with it from Verizon. From my experience I’d definitely recommend this phone.

how do you adjust the clock for dalight savings time??
i can find it nowhere in the menus or in the handbook

Turn it off and back on. Your phone pulls the time from the cell phone towers.

Slider Phones R COOL! it has Cool Games Like tetris and brick Attack N I LOVE IT BECAUSE IT SLIDES UP!!!!!!!!! THATS WHAT MAKES IT COOL

My slider is a good phone with the reception and battery life, but it freezes up on me 2 or 3 times a week. Today it froze up and wouldn’t come back on for a few hours. I take the battery out to restart it every time but this time it wouldn’t work. After fooling with it a couple times it came back on. I like my phone but it shouldn’t freeze up . I have never done anything to damage it to make it do that.

Hi ok I got my phone about 9 months ago the problem is now all of a sudden when I slide it open or slide it closed the screen just goes black yet it is still on because you can still see like the backlighgt and everything light up what should I do?

My slider phone freezes up 5-9 times a day. I take the battery out and restart. Very frustrating. Version says “you are out of luck” Any one have any ideas on what to do. Has Kyrocera recalled any sliders?

My phone does the same thing and I had the battery replaced a few months ago.
I’ve also been experiencing my phone shutting itself off with random calls or txt messages.
Has anyone else had this problem?

I had my slider since june 2004. I love it. I just about a new battery for it. I dropped it on a shoe today, and i noticed the 5 key is a little hard to press. I also had the phone reboot…but other then that i still like it. I just don’t know what phone to get next for verizon..does kyocera have anything new coming out?

WOW i hate kyocera sO much the batteries are horrible i charged my phone up like the entire nite and when i put it on in the morning it lasts like 1 hour and it shuts ofF. i also get randon text messages which r not even a text message KYOCERA SLIDER R JUNK

My slider went through the washer…and dryer and doesn’t work now. Since you don’t like yours, would you like to get rid of it?

ya i had the SE47 for 1 week and today i took a 2 foot spill onto the pavement and now the mic is junk i have to practically yell into the phone slowly for any kinda of noise to come out i can hear myself in the speaker when im talking and thats it. So if any1 knows how to fix the mics for the phone input would be nice
