Steve and Barry’s University Sportswear is my new favorite store! On the way back up from the game, we stopped at Great Lakes Crossing because I had heard about this store while listening to WIOG.
EVERYTHING in the store was $8.98 or less! I bought a Michigan long sleeve T, a Tennessee long sleeve T, Duke T, shirt for work, Michigan hooded sweathshirt, and a small duffle bag. My bill came to about $52! What a bargain!
I also picked up a sweet x-mas gift for Mo at another store, so I didn’t only splurge on myself.

I live in NJ and just today discovered S&B’s – I am blown away by the prices. I usually spend waaaay too much money on clothing and now I feel so relieved that these stores exist – Never heard of the store before today – I’m psyched to go back.

I worked at S&B and can tell you that they might be cheap but they’re JERKS to work for and instead of their tag line being “We got your Back” it should be “We stab you in the back.” The Men’s tees are good quality, as are the hoods and jackets(which are the best deals too) but everything else you wash and end up throwing away cause it shrinks to doll size.
Stick to the hoods and go sell them at the next big game for 4 times and profit! Just know that they aren’t an ethical company and they don’t treat their employees very well.

I’ve worked at Steve & Barry’s for more than 2 years, and my friends and I all think it’s a GREAT place to work! Definitely far better than working at Walmart or Target.
And I wear their clothes all the time and I think they’re every bit as good as American Eagle or anyone else. I don’t know how they can do it.

I have to agree with westabyouintheback. You have no idea who S&B are. Trust me, they’re scumbags (and so is their clothing).
You want REAL good quality clothes for a cheaper price? Go to Marshalls, KOHL’s, Century 21 (the department store, not the real estate company), etc. Any store that buys old season merchandise and sells it for less (and their merchandise is brand name products).
If that’s too much for you to handle, then go visit Gap, Old Navy, American Eagle, etc. Shop for sales and save.
Better than S&B (they are garbage).
