Darren McCarty Filed for Bankruptcy

On New Year’s of 2005 I played poker with professional hockey played Darren McCarty. It was great and he was a great guy. I had mixed feeling when I heard he had recently filed for bankruptcy, but after reading the article I’m glad to learn that a small portion of his debt is from gambling.

Rotors and Pads

I took my TrailBlazer in to get checked out this morning because it started making some grinding/rubbing noises in the back when I was going at slower speeds. Turns out I need new rotors and pads on the back and front. I just love putting money into a vehicle…don’t you?

The Detroit Lions signed quarterbacks Jon Kitna and Josh McCown this week, which should mean they’ll be shipping Joey Harrington elsewhere. Finally some new coaches who can see where some of the problems start with this team.
