WordCamp Phoenix 2011

I was excited to find out Phoenix is hosting a WordCamp a few weeks after I get into town. I just registered today and signed up to volunteer at the Genius Bar. WordCamp Phoenix is January 29th with a developer hack day on the 30th. They also have free Friday workshops and WordPress for Kids on Sunday. Should be a great event! If you live in the area and want to attend you better register soon because there aren’t many tickets left.

Should be a good opportunity to make some local friends to hang out with for the rest of my time in AZ.

I’ll be speaking at WordCampNYC next month, which is exciting and scary. Not sure what my topic will be, but I think it will be in the Newbie track. The speaker list is full of WordPress rock star talent, so if you are in the area make sure to sign up and come out. The program has something for everyone.
