What exactly does this mean for the Pistons tonight?

Round 2 Day 1
I was 4 out of 6 on yesterday’s wagers for a profit of $35.01 (running total of $60.59). The small little wagers really are making the games more interesting, especially since my brackets have all gone to shit after today. It’s time to up the antes a bit and try some different bets for round 2 of the tournament.
I went with some 2 team and 3 team round robin parlays on the following teams.
Duke -9 for the 2 team parlays and -9.5 for the 3 team parlays)
*The damn line changed after I made the 2 team parlays.
Indiana +3.5
Illinois -2
Wichita State +3
Now that I think of it, it was pretty dumb to do both 2 and 3 team round robins with the same teams. Oh well. It’s money the fish donated to my poker bankroll long ago.
I guess I’m hoping Bit Ten can recover from Friday’s games. I can’t stand the Zags, so Indiana was an easy pick. Wichita State is my sleeper pick of the day.
March Madness 2nd Day Bets
Four out of the five bets from round 1 day 1 won for a profit of $25.58 on $50 wagered. Marquette couldn’t even pull through with a win, let alone covering the spread. A winning day is never bad, especially on my first sports bets. Here are the games I took for the round 1 day 2 ($10 bets again).
Georgetown -4
Michigan State -4
North Carolina -11.5
Kentucky -3
West Virginia -4.5
Again I went with teams that are favored to win because I feel confident they are going to win. It also helped that I liked the spreads. My brackets picks didn’t do so hot, so I’m looking forward to making a few sports wagers each day of the tournament.
Update: I also decided to put $30 on Memphis at -13.
March Madness 1st Day Bets
For the first time I’m trying out sports betting. I took $100 out of my poker bankroll to wager on some of the March Madness games. I’m using Bodog to place my bets since I have an account with them for poker already. I put $10 on each of the following games:
Indiana -1.5
Marquette -3
Illinois -8.5
Boston College -8
Florida -8
I went with teams that are all supposed to win according to the lines and they are all teams I had picked to win in my brackets as well. Each of these teams should be able to cover the spread if they play their normal games. My plan is to pick another 5 games on day 2 of the first round at $10 a game and then hopefully I’ll be enough ahead where I can double my best for 2nd round games. $100 isn’t much, but I’m not doing this to become a millionaire. I just want to add a little more excitement to the games.
