A few things have been watched to start 2019 and they all happened to begin with the letter A.
Although I’ve noticed this movie several times while browsing through Netflix, I always skipped over it. After finally watching the trailer, it caught my attention. Anon really gets you thinking about future upgrades to the human body and how security and privacy could change some day.
Another solid one from the DC universe. Almost on Wonder Woman‘s level for me, but not quite. A lot better than the rest of the films.
Anyone and everyone seemed to rave about this series when it was released but I held off. Actually I’ve been trying not to start any new series until I catch up on all of the others I want to start. Absolutely loved it and watched all 10 episodes over the weekend, which rarely happens. Action was a big part of the show, which probably is my favorite new show of the last few years. Advances in tech really gets you thinking about the future of the human race with this one as well.
After making it this far, did you notice the first letter of every sentence?
A lot of people think of Arnold Schwarzenegger when it comes to bodybuilding, but Ronnie Coleman won My Olympia eight years in-a-row and earned the nickname “The King” as the best bodybuilder in history. He has bigger than anyone before him and everyone who has come after.
All the years of hard training and heavy weights took a toll on his body. It was hard to watch him hobbling around in this film.
If you’ve never watched Pumping Iron, watch that first.
I enjoyed this one. Has some great action sequences.
The Golf Channel created this short film about the 5 European golfers who changed the course of the Ryder Cup at a time when it may have disappeared. It was great to release it this week and it really hyped me up about this year’s Ryder Cup. Check it out before things kick off tomorrow.
If there was ever a movie written for my sense of humor this is it. What a treat! I would expect a good chunk of people might not appreciate the film, but it has a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.
I hadn’t even seen the trailer before watching this movie. It was nice not having any idea what it was about.
Another fun movie from Marvel. With most of the action set in Africa it had a different and refreshing feel compared to their other movies. My favorite character was played by Danai Gurira, who you may know as Michonne from The Walking Dead.
Today I’m listening to the soundtrack on repeat.
Netflix really hyped this for the last month or two. I guess they had to when it is the most expensive movie they’ve produced.
I don’t think I’ve watched a movie with orcs, elves, and magic set in a modern-day location like Los Angeles. I enjoyed it and am glad to see they’ve already ordered a sequel.
People’s reactions seem to be all over the map after watching The Last Jedi. I enjoyed it. It’s a really fun movie. I don’t remember the last time I watched a two and a half hour movie without feeling bored or uncomfortable at all. When I got in my car I remember looking at the clock and thinking it was off; I couldn’t have possibly been in the theater that long.
Everything you said about this movie is wrong. If you walked out of the movie disappointed, listen to this podcast. Hopefully it’ll help you appreciate the film a little more.
I think a key point they make is Star Wars is for kids. We’re grown up kids now, but there are new generations of children being introduced to this universe with each movie. We keep getting older, but there are always going to be children watching their first Star Wars film.
I loved the Ocean’s Trilogy, so this should be another fun movie. Without it being Danny Ocean’s crew, I was confused by the name of the movie until I read that Sandra Bullock play’s Debbie Ocean, Danny’s estranged sister.
