Duke Comeback
What an incredible comeback last night. Louisville was outplaying Duke in every aspect of the game when they went up by 23 points with less than 10 minutes to go.
The effort by Duke was terrible. Here are some of the texts my brother and I were exchanging.
Coach K switched to a zone and then added a full court press, which changed the game. Check out that 0.1% chance of winning!
This ranks up there with the Miracle Minute against Maryland as one of the best comebacks I’ve watched. Duke was also ranked #2 in that game.

I Bought a Globe Because World Maps Suck
Automattic is a distributed company, so I work with folks from all around the world. It’s confusing to think about our physical relation to each other on the Earth, especially when looking at a map. I bought this 4″ globe and I’m loving the addition to my office.
Cardio Triple Threat
So happy to have added the rower to my garage gym. I’m really enjoying 30-40 minute cardio sessions in the cold garage. Didn’t have the heat on long and I ended up ditching my hoodie, but it’s nice to warm things up a bit to get started.
Windy Snap
More crazy weather, with high winds overnight. Looks like one of these dead trees snapped and started a little chain reaction. I’m lucky they didn’t come towards the house! Part of me hopes they fall while the ground is frozen though.

My front porch didn’t get hit bad, but the walkway and driveway are all ice. Over the last 10 days we’ve had a winter storm, record wind chills, a heat wave up to 50° that melted all of the snow, and now this freezing rain. Crazy weather changes!
