Last night we rented out The Wizarding World of Harry Potter after the park closed. This butterbeer from The Fountain of Fair Fortune in Diagon Alley was delicious! I also went back for a couple of adult beverages (Wizard’s Brew and Dragon Scale) that were tasty as well.
It’s been a great summer for golf in Michigan and I’ll probably end up playing more holes than I have since 2012. I’ve started to find a more consistent swing and have learned better course management, which has resulted in one of my best scoring years. I’m excited to see that my official USGA handicap dropped to single digits for the first time with a 9.7! Does this golf season have to end?
I was so pissed when I took the first drink and realized it was an IPA. Nope, I still haven’t found one I enjoy. Passion Grass tastes like ass!
Notice the label only says “ale,” otherwise there is no way I would have bought these. Now I have five more bottles of this shit to struggle through.

The Golf Channel created this short film about the 5 European golfers who changed the course of the Ryder Cup at a time when it may have disappeared. It was great to release it this week and it really hyped me up about this year’s Ryder Cup. Check it out before things kick off tomorrow.
I’ve been cleaning up and reorganizing my gym to make room for a second vehicle in the garage. Floor space has become a premium resource, so I built a little rack so these small dumbbells have a place to go. Even better, it uses up what normally would be wasted space under a shelf.
Finished watching the season last week. It was much better than the first season, with several big twists over the last 4 episodes. I really like the new Walker character.
I’ll be watching these videos over and over all week, until the Ryder Cup starts.
My eyes got wet during that walk up the 18th and the tears kept coming for what must have been 30-40 minutes as he made the final put, was interviewed, and accepted the trophy. I don’t ever remember seeing Tiger choked up like that. We witnessed history and one of the greatest comebacks is sports history.
