Back when I started, I wrote a post titled CrossFit: Open Source Fitness in which I mentioned several things that reminded me of WordPress. Yesterday I watched the following video of Greg Glassman, CrossFit’s founder, and couldn’t help thinking about WordPress and many of the talks given by our founder, Matt Mullenweg.

The Games cost us money. We lose millions of dollars, every year, right out of the back pocket from the Games. That’s OK. Tony said, “It’s not losing because we’re not expecting to make money.” It’s to promote, what? Fitness.
