Or is it a function of driving in the states? The console and shifter are all on the right for us so I find myself using my right hand for all the daily operations (changing the station, turning down the heat, engaging warp, etc.) and lazily holding the wheel steady with my left (and often my left knee).
I hypothesize that it’d be difficult to find someone who’s left handed but drives primarily with the right. Unless they’re texting. Felons.

Good point about sitting on the left. I never learned how to drive a manual transmission though, so it’s all been on automatics for me.

Same. Of course, I’ve driven manual transmission vehicles, mostly, & learned to drive on one.

I always use my right hand because of the right hand drive in the UK. I need to use my left for gears. Now I’m in Canada I still use my right hand. 🙂
