On the 4th hole at Maryvale I hit a 9 iron. The hole was playing 150 yards. My tee shot hit the flag and ended up about 5 feet away. Great chance for birdie right? You guessed it, I made a three putt. Hitting the flag was actually bad luck because it took spin off the ball, which backed up a foot anyway, but would have been really close or at least below the hole.
