  3. My ipod is lock to. after I search in apple website and find the answer.

    we must reset the ipod.

    Follow this way to reset the ipod.

    1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

    2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

  8. my ipod nano’s middle button is stuck.i can’t get it to work only the buttons around it work.it turns on and off but it is just the middle button what shall i do.i have never bought something and it has just broken down like that.i was not completely satisfied.i have had it since december 3rd 2006 and it has only worked untill 4th /9th/07 .pls help i am going on holiday in a few days and i accept my ipod to work durin my jouney.pls help, stuck and don’t no what to do?if this problem does not get noticed i will be very upset and i would not like to buy any more apple items. not happy pls help…..?

  16. if your nano is stuck on anything go to the top of this page and read the iPod nano Lockup Reset When Frozen list. it fixed being stuck in disk mode and a few other things, and it doesnt get rid of your music or anything like that. if you’re really that lazy and dont feel like going to the link then here.

    this is for the nano

    “Toggle hold switch on.

    Toggle hold switch off.

    Hold down the menu and middle button for a few seconds.

    You might need to repeat.

    Both times my iPod nano has frozen up I was plugging the ipod into the USB cable while the the hold switch was toggled on. Make sure to hold switch is togged off when connecting your iPod with the USB cable.”

  17. Hey, I’ve gotta problem like no other, my ipod nano second generation skips songs or i just wont play them. WTF! I load them from itunes, and yes they are the right format, it works fine and all, no problem with play any songs. But as soon as i shut it off and go to use it again (hours later) it WILL NOT play the newly added songs or any of the other ones. I don’t know why, i have done basically everything i can. But i did read that i u take it apart and put a business card between the hard drive and the case it will work, i don’t know how or why, i have tried to open it, but the only openings are on the top and bottom, i toke them both out, and well i could get the case off, so i gave up, but for some strange fricked up reason, it start play my songs again, normally, until today, I’ve tried to do the same thing but it doesn’t work. PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME

    im sorry i cant help you i had the same problem but a code is a code you can prob.go and get a new one if you still have wrrinty bu utherwise there is no hope by the way the warenty should cover scratches, broken, water damages any exterior damages and but ot stolen… that happend to me once

    i see you know alot about ipods so i was wondering what exactly is disk mode because my computer is telling me i need to put my nano into disc dome to put notes on it
