Everyone once in awhile my PC speakers will pick up what sounds like a walkie talkie or some kind of phone. How is this possible?

You’re not the only one perplexed by this phenomenon. It happened at work last week where someone’s workstation was emitting some odd sounds. I tried muting everything but the master volume, but nothing else worked. Rebooting the computer fixed it.

It used to happen all the time at my old apartment, but this is the first time it’s happened in over a year. Kind of freaks me out. If my PC speakers can randomly pick up someone’s conversation, just think how easy is must be for someone actually attempting to listen to my cell phone convos.
