Adobe acquires Macromedia (via If…Else). This should be an interesting combination since Photoshop and Dreamweaver are two of my favorite pieces of software.
Ultimate Bet is having another reload bonus. It’s a 50% bonus up to $100. I was quite suprised to see this one since the last reload bonus was less than a week ago. I now have $425 in bonus funds sitting at UB!
After clearing the Empire bonus last weekend I decided to make Poker Stars the next stop on my bonus whoring tour. I’d need 600 FPP to clear the $120 bonus.
On Monday night I fired up Poker Stars and went looking for $0.50/1 tables. The first thing I noticed was there weren’t many full tables to choose from. Next, I noticed the tables were much tighter than those found at Party Poker. Oh well, we’ll give it a shot.

Saturday was my brother’s 18th birthday and he wanted to play some live poker. The Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant is the only Michigan casino that doesn’t have an age limit of 21, so Isaac and my Mom made a day trip down. The plan was to meet them there in the afternoon, but they weren’t leaving Rogers City until 2:00, so I decided to head over earlier. Ever since Soaring Eagle opened the poker room last February I’ve been talking about going to play with my friend Dave from work. It’s only about a 45 minute drive from Saginaw for me and less than a half hour for him from Midland, so it’s actually pretty sad we’ve hadn’t gone yet.
I’m not a big fan of animated movies, but I enjoyed watching The Incredibles. Overall, it was a well written story which kept my interest throughout the movie. It’s amazing how real Pixar makes animation look. We’ve come a long way since Saturday cartoons in the 80’s.
What really got me into this movie was the superheros. Although I’ve never read comic books, I’m a fan of the comics that have come to the big screen. Watching a superhero movie that was animated is a bit different, but it was still enjoyable. One of the things I really like about animated films is hearing the voices of actors that I’ve seen in “real” movies.
I give it a B.
