Heather and Mom are visiting for the weekend, so we made a trip to the outlets in Birch Run yesterday. My plan was to buy some new polo shirts and maybe a few other things. I ended up spending over $300 on new clothes and shoes! What can I say? I’m a sucker for shopping. Most of the total was spent on two new pairs of Dr. Marten’s, one brown and one black. It’s hard to pass up a few nice pairs of shoes, especially when I actually find my size 14. The $80 price tag per pair was hard to pass up as well. Other than the shoes, I bought 5 polo shirts, 2 nice t-shirts, a pair of jeans, a pair of shorts, and one of those shirts you keep wrinkly. It really has been a long time since I’ve done any clothes shopping, so it felt good to buy some new clothes.

We ended up going out to Red Lobster for dinner after shopping. Is that place the best restaurant on Earth or what?
