Ever since the ending of the first Resident Evil, I had been waiting for this movie to come out. After failing to see it in the theaters, I bought the DVD. Resident Evil: Apocalypse is a good movie, but definitely not as good as the first was.

Apocalypse takes place in Raccoon City, where Alice (Milla Jovovich) escapes from the medical facility to defeat the T-virus, which has been let out of the Hive. She meets up with Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory), a hot rougue cop that reminds me of the Lara Croft character, and they work together in an attempt to get out of the city before it is destroyed.

The special effects aren’t anything to get excited about and the story isn’t all that great either. I hope they improve on it for the next film. I give the movie a B.
