I’ve had some visitors over the last few days, so there hasn’t been much time for posting. It’s always nice to take a little break from the online world though.

On Thursday night, my sister came down because her last class was on Friday. Heather ‘s doing her student teaching right now, will be done in a few weeks, and then graduates in December. It was good to hang out with her and watch one of our favorite shows together, ER. After living with her for two years I miss having her around. I love living by myself though, so I don’t miss her that much! After her class, she headed over to Mt. Pleasant to spend the rest of the weekend with her boyfriend Steve.

On Friday, my brother came down with his girlfriend (Britney) for a couple of days. I’ve enjoyed kicking his ass in some XBox and even talked him into buying one of his own. To tell you the truth, I didn’t have to do much talking. Isaac played Halo with me over Christmas break a few years ago and we had some late nights beating the game on Legendary difficulty. He was hooked and with Halo 2 out on Tuesday he wanted to be able to play it. Best Buy has a holiday bundle where the XBox comes with Top Spin and NCAA Football 2005. He also bought a 2nd controller and the XBox Live starter kit, which came with a copy of Crimson Skies. So he already has three games to play and is taking my copy of Halo home to get in some practice before he picks up the new version probably on the weekend. When my copy of NCAA Football arrives we’ll have 2 games that we can play each other online with, so that’ll be pretty sweet.

Last night we ate at Hooter’s and went to see a movie. It has been a good weekend overall. It’s nice to get rid of their high school “puppy love” though. All the kissy face, holding hands while driving, and stuff make me sick to the stomach. I remember all of that stuff from my younger years, but I never did it in public like these two. I hope he gets over this stage soon.
