After logging into my Gmail account today I noticed a link to Invite Friends. Turned out that I had been given 3 invitations. They went to Deacon Blue, Mo, and another co-worker, Doug. Unfortunately I don’t have any left (so don’t ask), but if I get more invitations I’ll likely have some type of contest to give them away.
I’ve also decided that it’s time I start using my own account. Bill was nice enough to give me an invite, so I better put it to good use. I’ll be forwarding all of my MtDewVirus email over and changing where my scripts send to.
If you want to send me something, my address is @gmail.com.
Hint: Just look at my domain name or site title for the part before @!
just starting with this whole blog thing, and someone directed me towards yours. fate? maybe, because i’ve been trying to find someone to tell me about their gmail experence. i missed out on an invite from a long lost friend by being out of town for a few days. he’s been the only person i know who has one and his reviews are crap (not the crappy service, but he can’t apparently express himself in written form.) speaking of poorly written people, this is turning into crap and i’m outta here.

Once I get a few weeks of heavy use in, I’ll post a review of Gmail.

I use a wonderful piece of software called WordPress to manage all of the posts, comments, links, etc. It’s a combination of PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL. The blog pages don’t actually exist, but are created dynamically (“on the fly”) with calls to the database. I’ve hacked the software up quite a bit and also have some custom scripts that I use for various things. Some of my pages are static, but everything ties together in one way or another.

You could just use an email obfuscator… 😉

I’m sure some of the bots can un-obfuscate. 😕
