Kyocera SE47 Slider Phone

Kyocera SE47 Slider PhoneI got my new cell phone today from Verizon Wireless. It’s a Kyocera SE47 Slider Phone and I love it! It’s smaller than my previous phone and so compact. I’ve never liked the flip phones so when I saw this one I had to have it.

  1. From Verizon I paid about $105 for the phone and charger, plus they gave me a car charger, leather case, and a good Jabra headset. On top of that, I got a $50 rebate. So basically all of that for $55. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

  2. One recommendation for anyone who purchases this phone and wants the belt holster/clip…buy the Kyocera brand!! I bought a cheap knockoff on eBay and any little nudge to the phone or clip and the phone came out and crashed onto the floor/ground. So now I have scratches all over my phone, but am glad to say that it held up fine dropping a few feet onto concrete. 🙂 I found an auction for the Kyocera brand holster and it fits the phone perfectly and will not jar loose.

  4. Sldiers are the most durable phone I have ever used. I cant count how many times I flipped my bike while talking and saw the phone in peices 20 ft away. It was just the battery, put it in and it was all set every time. I also had a cheap generic pouch and it dropped the phone a few times also, every time the battery seperated and when replaced the phone was fine.

You HAVE to call a phone durable when it flies twenty feet through the air and still orks perfeclty

  5. I agree…I’ve dropped my phone on the pavement or cement at least 15-20 times. Each time the battery comes off, but the phone works fine again. Of course, the phone does have a few “scars”, but nothing but dings or small scratches.

  6. It’s not that durable. It fell when I got out of my car and hit the pavement. Mic died instantly. Although, a few months ago I dropped it underwater and it still worked fine after that so go figure!

  8. The ‘Slider’ is definitely an awesome phone. As soon as I saw this phone on the virgin mobile website I feel in love. It’s has just about everything I could have hoped for. It’s stylish, uniquely designed, has great reception, almost all the features I wanted (including color screen, downloadable ring tones, and text messaging), but best of all it’s pre-paid.

Overall this phone is awesome, one of the best I’ve seen and the best I’ve ever purchased. If you’re looking for a unique ‘pre-paid’ phone, this is the one to get!:!:

  9. I just upgraded my phone to a V5 slider and I’m really pleased. I get great reception, awesome color and a lot of good features. This is the perfect phone to get if you’re looking for more than just the basics. I love downloading ring tones from the Virgin Mobile site. Best of all, I’m no longer wasting minutes with a restrictive contract.
